The pinch rolls

The pinch rolls are used in steel industry hot mills to guide the sheet metal by pinching it between the superior and inferior roll.

 

The dimensions offered by Sedan are as follows :

Superior pinch roll :

  • Useful thickness : 15 mm on radius
  • Envelope : 50 mm in bimetallic cast iron
  • Roll diameter of about 900 mm
  • Length from 1800 to 2400 mm

Inferior pinch roll :

  • Useful thickness : 15 mm on radius
  • Roll diameter of about 400 mm
  • Length from 1800 to 2400 mm
